corn is great

this is the reason da bears are the best team in the nfl... their touchdown fight song:
Bear down, Chicago Bears, make every play clear the way to victory;
Bear down, Chicago Bears, put up a fight with a might so fearlessly.
We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation with your T-formation.
Bear down, Chicago Bears, and let them know why you're wearing the crown.
You're the pride and joy of Illinois, Chicago Bears, bear down.

there is not hing more depressing that the market right now. analysts say that if ur 401k was tied in with the dow starting in 1999, then ur 401k in 2008 is the same as it was in '99.

theo theo theo... and im not talking about the cosby show's theo huxtable, im talking about the brand new theo ratliff poster. testicles in mouth.

billy mays can sell anything to anyone. i heart infomercials.

safe for work.. rachel ray and guest have fun with a trick for taking kernels off corn cobs. thank you stuey.

im sure u've seen it already, but how disappointing was kimbo slice last week. he got ko'd in 14 seconds! there are things i wont name which i can do even longer than 14 seconds. here is the clip in HD:

go get ur money saturday..
florida -6 vs. lsu
texas +7 vs. oklahoma
notre dame +9 vs. unc
yea i said it.. notre dame.

sunday nite nfl special..
charges -5.5 vs. new england

i dunno what to think about the spread offense in college football. it's fun to watch the glorified option offense on the college level.. but is it good for the players? why do kids want to play college football? for the scholarship and free education?.. no. for the groupie love?.. possible. to one day play on sundays?.. yes. unfortunately, the qb's and rb's dont really get developed in the spread. as of right now.. i'd take jimmy claussen as a better nfl prospect than any spread offense qb, including tim tebow.
it's kinda like the hawaii qb's who put up ridiculous #'s in the pass happy offense. u would think that type of offense would enhance their passing ability. well, it doesnt. the qb doesnt develop into a well rounded athlete.. and the nfl doesnt run that type of offense.
spread = fun for college minus good nfl prospects. take it for what it is.

arguably the greatest turnaround in sports.. and that is why maddon is a great coach. not talking about john madden, talking about joe maddon.

yea wvu may have beaten rutgers in a close football game again.. but they def have the upper hand in creative technology. srirachua sauce sends in the wv fire alarm:

AP Top 10 going into the wknd:
1 Oklahoma- will lose to texas
2 Alabama- idle
3 Missouri- will beat okla state
4 LSU- will lose to florida
5 Texas- will beat oklahoma
6 Penn State- wins close game v. wisconsin
7 Texas Tech- will crush nebraska
8 Southern California- crushes arizona state
9 Brigham Young- who cares
10 Georgia- beats tennessee.. yaawn.

red stilletos confuse me

dooshbag/oasis singer noel gallagher.

he allegedly had another temper tantrum.. bc the new bond movie people asked jigga and alicia keys to do the soundtrack, instead of gallagher.. who is UK. he said, "It's a piss take that the greatest British agent of all time has to be soundtracked by a bunch of fucking Americans."

it's good and bad that there is so much parity in college football nowadays. yea its great that every weekend there will be close games and "upsets". can we even use the term "upset" anymore tho? teams are so much more evenly matched that "upset" is too strong of a word. the conference games are going to be more competitive and entertaining fo sho.. but what does this mean? there will not be a clear #1.. which will create more controversy. teams will beat each other up in conference play and since teams are capable of knocking off any other team on a given day.. who can pollsters really say the top 10 are? in my book.. ur all #1. jk.
anyways.. here's my top 10 recap going into the wknd..

1 Oklahoma (43)
oklahoma is #1 for now. so far the best team in the best conference, so i guess its worthy.

2 Alabama (21)
bama beat georgia.. a georgia team that is banged up. bama was up big, then barely hung on to win. saban and boosters are bringing in the athletes. probably the best team in 2nd best conference.. so i guess its worthy.

3 LSU
eh.. unproven qb. team overall probably playing better than they should. they wont last in top 3 for long.

4 Missouri (1)
mizzu would be lsu.

5 Texas
texas would beat lsu and probably give mizzu a tough game.

6 Penn State
psu is not a top 10 team. notorious developer for wannabe nfl rb's. big10 is a mediocre league.

7 Texas Tech
best passing attack in the country.. well, next to rutgers. 4th big12 team in top 10. tt would crush psu.. and probably beat lsu too.

8 Brigham Young
c'mon.. u have to be kidding me. #8?.. maybe #18.

9 USC
lost to oregon state.. but it was a let-down game. after completely spanking osu.. it must be tough to get up for oregon state as the next opponent. so much hype and hoopla for the osu game.. emotions mustve been deflated, especially after bending over osu. they're college kids after all.. ish happens. usc is still the most talented team in the country.. and will probably end up playing for national championship by end of year.

10 South Florida
talented but not top 10. lost to pitt thurs nite. much like the big10, big east is mediocre this year.

travis henry just got busted on a cocaine deal.
homey is hustlin to make 9 separate child support checks i guess. remember when nate newton got busted on drugs.. and not a small amount. he was u-hauling 213 lbs of marijuana.

nate said he was ready to make $75k on each transaction. with that kinda loot it wouldnt even be rain at the club, it would straight up be a tropical storm.

do u know who this is?
it's the lovely heather locklear's mugshot after being arrested last week for suspicion of dui.

for the first time in my life, i sat down and watched a political debate. the VP Debate. i felt so growns up. anyways, i was listening and trying to get a feel for where they stood on certain topics. it's tough to get a feel for where they stand since they hardly ever answer the damn question. so when biden and palin start going off on tangents.. thats when they lose my attention. thankfully.. producer of the debate, the camera men, and i were on the same page. when the vp hopefuls started rambling.. the cameras started wandering. and every time the camera angle was from the backdrop.. pointing towards the crowd, all i could focus on were sarah palin's red shoes.
they almost looked like stripper stilletos..and when she started winking at the camera... i wasnt sure where i was for a minute.. i instinctively reached into my pocket for dollar bills. she's such a stiffler's mom.

thanks to stuey for passing this along.. korean restaurant week.
