nba on tnt crew rocks. its just a great cast with ernie, cb, and kenny the jet. its no wonder they win emmy awards.
some notes from the heavily playoff impactful nuggets/warriors game which the nuggets won:
monta ellis gotss some hop. andreis beidrins has a nj shore guido blowout for a haircut. AI not only made practice popular, but he also made cornrows popular. melo is a deadly scorer. kmart is tenacious. golden state has good fans, as its been well documented by players and coaches throughout the years.. even during some really shtty seasons the fans come support and have a fun time. stephen jackson is one of the most overrated players ever. eduardo najera is the 2nd richest mexican after carlos slim. linas kleiza went to mizzou??? wtf.. i thought he was straight out of serbia or lithuania or some ish. alex english and fat lever were great nuggets. al harrington has nothing on billy owens.

a few notes from the lake show/clips:
al thorton looks like a solid rook. good to see elton brand back in action.. if u dont know how the story of him being drafted by the bulls went.. the bulls brought him in for a private pre draft work out. there is a drill where they ask the player to stand underneath the hoop and jump up to dunk the ball two handed as many times as they can. players usually stop around 8-10 before getting tired. elton went up 10x, 11, 12, etc.. and then stopped real quick to genuinely ask how many times they wanted him to dunk it.
cuttino mobley has had a nice career believe or not... prob better than his fellow URI mate lamar odom. odom and tim thomas shouldve been so much better pros.. both 6'10 athletic sf's that have no desire or motivation except at contract years. clips were so much fun to watch with Q, jeff mcinnis, elton, and darius miles.. and even kandi man. where is darius miles?? he got that $50mil contract and called it a day huh. eric piatkowski was a killer from 3 pt land for that squad.

i was driving home after work and there is a sharp blind right turn near my place. sometimes there is a cop there waiting to pull someone over. the car in front of me stopped completely then turned. i kinda rolled thru the stop sign with no seat belt. as i roll thru the turn, i hear a BOOP BOOP from the cop and im thinking, damn i shouldve put my seat belt on or.. damn i shouldve stopped completely at the stop sign. but it was all good bc the cop went for the car in front of me.. bc the driver was talking on the cellie. cops are looking for it so dont do it.

pat ewing jr behind the back dunk. its impressive. think he'll make an nba roster just on his defense and athleticism... and genetics from HOF daddy.

charles barkley used to fly for a fat guy. and he's only about 6'4" tall. one of the best stories ever is when kobe and some celebrity dude were facing off at a vegas club.. poppin bottles to see who the bigger man was by spending more loot than the other. kobe allegedly had a tab of about 100k.. and thought he was a big dog.. until barkley who heard this allegation and says he spends that on one hand of black jack. gangster. ronnie fields.. former teammate of kevin garnett at farragaut academy in chicago. he's listed at 6'3". if he didnt' get into a car accident that put him out of bball for a few years bc of a bad neck, then more people would know about him. my boy norris bell at rutgers who went to abcd camp with hiim showed me an unbelievable dunk contest between fields and corey benjamin. now.. think back to the mid 90's when dunking from the foul line was a big thing. in the final round of the dunk contest,18 yr old corey benjamin headed to oregon state (and later played a few seasons with the atlanta hawks and prob a few other teams in the L) took off from the foul line and threw it down. the players watching went nuts. the person holding the home camera on this norris bell tape couldnt hold the camera still out of excitement. after the crowds calm down.. ronnie fields takes the ball and calmly strolls from the foul line to about the dotted.. jumps straight up in the air, 360 reverse windmill dunk. sickest dunk ive ever seen in my life. fields vertical jump could not be measured at that time bc the sticks they set up werent high enough.. which meant it was 50+ inches. here's some random h.s. dunks from fields.

hbi is on a two game win streak! i can't wait to give the hbi to the dreamleague in the playoffs!

kansas is that national champion..and well deserving. memphis deserves to lose.. they gave the game away in the final 2 minutes of regulation. its kinda like the overpaid closer blowing a save in the 9th inning.. its disgusting to watch. ONE FREE THROW MADE would've iced the game into two possessions, but they couldn't. chokers. give credit to kansas for not quitting. cdr is the new nick anderson. derrick rose is going #2 overall in this summer's draft.

whats up with unc coach roy williams wearing a kansas shirt at the game? that's kinda weird.. and i dont really know what to say about that. i understand roy has some deep history with kansas.. but that chapter is done, and has been done. its just weird to see.

joba is getting heat for his "excitment" on the mound. there is a fine line between emotions for the love of the game and showing off the other team. i dunno which way to go on this one bc if a player on a team i didnt like was doing that to a team i like, i prob wouldnt like it so much.
