troy polamulu has been a part of 2 very big games this year... when it comes to beating the vegas spread.a few weeks back against the chargers, the score was 11-10 late in the 4th quarter. on the final play of the game, troy ran back a failed lateral attempt for a touchdown as time ran out. the spread on the game was -5 pitt. with troy's td return, the score shoud've ended 17-10 and all of the pitt faithful bettors winning the wager. but the officials did not award pitt with that td for some dumb reason. like many, i took pitt -5 and shouldve won my wager. instead.. there was a swing of millions of dollars across the nation as +5 chargers won.
this past sunday in the afc championship game with the score 16-14 in the 4th quarter, the ravens were driving the field on what was prob their last possession. the spread on the game was -6 pitt. troy picked off a pass and ran it back for a touchdown to make it 23-14. he was the reason for another huge swing against the spread.
