so why are people still talking about power conferences in sports. how can people still call the western conference the better conference in the nba when an eastern conference team handed their ass on a silver platter. there must be depth in the eastern conference too when u think about how the C's almost lost to the hawks in round one. c's battled it out with the hawks, and walked by the lakers. with that said, i will not claim one conference to be better than the other based on the fact any team can win on any given day.
people still talk about the afc being the power conference in the nfl. um, oh yea, the ny giants beat the undefeated pats in the superbowl.
how about everyone stops claiming one conference to be better than the other. it just doesnt make any sense.
only in mlb is one league better than the other. the AL is obviously the power league in the bigs. there is no way the NL is better.. especially when the NL doesnt even play with a DH. the DH rule is perhaps the best idea mlb ever came up with. NL is like what the NBDL is to the nba.. its just a step above college athletics. im surprised the baseball purists even allowed the DH. to be even more game enhancing, mlb needs instant replay like a itchy crackhead needs a fix.. but dont even get me started about that. bottomline.. pitchers pitch, they dont get paid to hit. u know what happens to pitchers who try to hit and run the base paths..

your ace pitcher can go down for a very long time on the DL for trying to do what they are not paid to do. this isn't the softball beer league.. dont let the pitchers bat. the nfl teams dont ask punters to cover randy moss on 3rd downs, and nba teams don't ask their point guards to defend dwight howard in the post. let the players do what they are paid to do. plain and simple. dh rule rocks!

ryan boatwright. he committed to USC to play hoops. and why am i posting this? because he committed to USC.. when he was in 8th grade. yea, 8th grade. lucky tim floyd got him before fred hill did. jk. but he sure wouldve looked like a soldier in scarlet red. can't hate on USC getting the jumpoff on future athletes.. bc its never too early to recruit when A KID CAN DO THIS. i didnt know any 8th graders who hoop'd like this. thats fo sho.

so the l.a. clip show signs bdiddy.. but is gonna let go of maggette and ELTON? wtf is wrong with management. things were looking good with the trio of baron, maggette, and elton.. it was almost like a poor man's big 3 of the c's. i guess that franchise is doomed to never succeed bc ownership is so cheap. must be frustrating to be a fan of the clips.
sixers may arguably have the ugliest uniforms in the nba.. it may be a tie between the sixers and the twolves.




i wish i could find video of mtv cribs clinton portis. the best episode ever. i thought big boi of outkast had a great house.. with his stripper pole in the "game room".. but portis' pole was even better. he always wanted to be a firefighter growing up so he installed a pole to slide up and down on to pretend to be a firefighter.

his basement also has a king sized bed with silk sheets and a ceiling mirror over it.. and has a hot tub nearby.. a yellow tub with purple carpets leading up to it.
