there really is no such thing as bad publicity

the undisputed best linebacker in the nfl is reportedly getting a well deserved raise.. making him a chicago bear until 2012 and receving another $24 mil.

basesball is getting exciting! the ny mets are back fighting for the top spot in the B-league East. fans and media are back on the bandwagon. the "amazins" won 10 straight to get themselves back in it. thats a nice run i must admit.. and well deserving to finally catch up to the underachieving yanks in the win column. nice job mets!
i guess its a big deal to start winning games in the dh-less bush league east, i mean nl east, all of a sudden. gooooo mets!

greg norman went into sunday with the lead in the british open... and lost. how unusual since he has been so clutch in his career. jk.

would u be comfortable signing a pre-nup before getting married? i think it should be a requirement, not an option. when u go for ur marriage license, it should be a law to sign a pre-nup in order to be officially married. good idea or bad?

golf needs to change some rules. it happens every once in a while, but it makes no sense to me. what u do on the course should determine the outcome and not a missed signature in the scorecard area. it seems quite retarded to have lines and borders to keep golfers in scorecard area to finalize their scores with a signature.
michelle wie was the latest to get screwed bc of this dumb rule. so what if u forget a signature.. it doesnt change what u've done on the field already. there's no reason to be dq'd. its not like she's gonna shave strokes off her card.. there's tournament officials everywhere and, oh yea.. its usually covered on tv. im gonna say its pretty tough to get caught cheating. its not like u and ur buddies going out to the field and when no ones looking, kicking the ball onto a better lie. know what i mean? funny thing is.. the golfers who forget to sign their cards usually remember right away and go back to sign it. BUT.. rules say once u leave the area, its too late and u get dq'd. how awesome is that rule.. to alter the final outcomes without any playing involved.

im addicted to watermelon. i eat half of one almost every nite.

dark knight.. $155.34 mil in the first wknd. new record. they made in one wknd what kg makes in a span of like 5-6 years.
i can't wait to see it.

there seems to be a growing number of kids who are diagnosed with autism.
why is that? when i was growing up i never heard of autism, let alone know any kids with it. i find it very odd that autism is so widely spread now. what could be causing this condition? is it the food we eat? global warming? it's caused by something.. but michael savage thinks otherwise. he was born in the bronx and currently lives in frisco.. so i guess only explanation is that he's a redneck lost in a major city, or his roots are possibly from the inbred sticks of kentucky. either way, he just got a whole lotta publicity and attention this past week for his commments. i never heard of him until this, and im sure that goes for many others. now he's better known across the country for ignorant remarks and he'll probably profit from it. crazy world.
conservative talk show host michael savage had this to say about autism:
"I'll tell you what autism is. In 99 percent of the cases, it's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out. That's what autism is. What do you mean they scream and they're silent? They don't have a father around to tell them, 'Don't act like a moron. You'll get nowhere in life. Stop acting like a putz. Straighten up. Act like a man. Don't sit there crying and screaming, idiot.' If I behaved like a fool, my father called me a fool. And he said to me, 'Don't behave like a fool.' The worst thing he said -- 'Don't behave like a fool. Don't be anybody's dummy. Don't sound like an idiot. Don't act like a girl. Don't cry.' That's what I was raised with. That's what you should raise your children with. Stop with the sensitivity training. You're turning your son into a girl, and you're turning your nation into a nation of losers and beaten men. That's why we have the politicians we have."

there is just as much hype circling around jason taylor as there is with brett favre. taylor finally got traded from the dolphins.. and now he's a redskin. taylor is definitely a nice player and makes impacts in games, and should give the skins a boost. but why is there so much to talk about with him?
favre has broken records and won super bowls, and is a guaranteed HOF'er. what about tayls? is jason taylor even a HOF'er? media sure treats him like one.

flavor of the day: gabrielle union
